SLICED PORK BELLY IN SWEET HOT AND SOUR SAUCE
Ingredients A: (to blend)
10 soak dried Chilly
3 inches fresh turmeric
10 shallots
5 cloves garlic
1/2 tsp belacan powder
1 stalks sliced lemongrass,
2 tbsp tomato sauce
1 tbsp chilly sauce
400 ml water
Ingredient B:
300 g Sliced Pork Belly
4-5 sliced tamarind
Ingredient C: Seasoning
Salt and sugar to taste
1 tsp chicken granules
Others
4 tbsp cooking oil
Method:
Heat a wok with 4 tbsp cooking oil,
Add in blended ingredient A, tamarind and saute till fragrant.
Add in sliced pork belly, stir fry till fragrant.
Add seasoning as per own preference taste.
Let it simmer for another 10 minutes then turn off heat and dish up.
