SWEET & SOUR MEATBALL WITH PINEAPPLE



DEEP FRIED MEAL BALL

Ingredient A
300 g minced pork
1 tsp soy sauce
1 tsp sesame oil
a few dashes of white pepper
1/2 tsp cornstarch flour
Cooking oil for deep frying

Method
Combine well and marinate Ingredient A
Damp both hands with some water and shape into meatballs. (10-12 balls)
Set aside to marinate for 30 minutes
Deep fried evenly and dish up ( set aside )











Seasoning for sweet sour sauce
2 tbsp tomato sauce
1 2 tbsp chili sauce
1 tbsp fish sauce
1 tbsp Lea & Perins sauce
10 ml water

salt and sugar to preference taste (optional as all the above seasoning are actually sufficient )

Ingredient B
1/2 pineapple cut to chunk size
3 cloves chop garlic
1 slice red chili
2 tbsp cooking oil
150 -200 ml water

cornstarch solution ( 1 tbsp cornstarch + 2 tbsp plain water to dissolve)

Method
Heat up a wok add in 2 tbsp cooking oil add in chopped garlic saute till lightly brown fragrant
Add in red chili and pineapple stir fry till combine
Add in seasoning sauce keep stirring  till well combine and fragrant
Allow it to simmer till pineapple soften
Add in deep fried mince pork combine well
Taste to preference and add in cornstarch solution to lightly thicken as per preference.
Dish up to serve

Note
Add more or less water if the gravy thicken according to own preference.
