SUNQUICK MANDRIN ORANGE FA GAO
Ingredient A
30 ml warm water
1 tsp instant yeast
5 g castor sugar
15 g flour
Ingredient B
100 g mash sweet potato puree
20 g kara brand coconut powder
40 g sunquick Mandarin Orange flavor
60 ml water
170 g Wheat flour
90 g castor sugar
1/2 tsp double action baking powder
1 egg ( sieve)
Direction
Mixed Ingredient A well combine and set aside for 30 minutes to proof
Combine Ingredient B and A mixed well.
Set aside for another 30 minutes
Pour the batter into a small cupcake mould and steam for 20 - 25 minutes
Done
Note:
Ensure steamer water is boiling hot before putting the fa gao into the steamer.
Do not open the steamer for at least 20 minutes...opening the lid may leads to unsucessful rise...... huat.
