CHAR SIU PORK  BY AGNES THOR
Ingredient 
  • 500 g Kak sim pork (cut into a few chunks)
  • 2 tsp minced garlic
  • 2 tsp salted bean paste 
  • 2 tsp 5 spices powder 
  • 2 tbsp honey 
  • 2 tbsp BBQ sauce 
  • 1 sprig spring onion
  • 1 tsp salt 
  • 1 tsp dark soy sauce
  • water
Direction 
  • Heat up 4 tbsp of oil  a clay pot, saute garlic, salted bean paste with meat in low heat.
  • Add 5 spices powder, honey, BBQ sauce and 1 sprig spring onion with some water.
  • Bring to simmer and flipping the meat from time to time until evenly cook.
  • When meat is tender add in salt and dark soy sauce.
  • Add some water if the gravy dries up, little bit by little bit just to help soften the meat.
Note: 
Do not add water too much at a time
