One bowl of lightly beat en egg and I bowl of water add with yeast

Apam Balik Recipe
Ingredients A
130g plain flour
½ tsp baking soda
½ tsp instant yeast
2 tbsp sugar
1 egg
160ml water (lukewarm)
Method
In a bowl, add in all the ingredients A, whisk everything together until combined and no lumps.
Cover tightly with a cling film and leave to rest for 30 minutes or double. After 30 minutes, the batter should be foamy and almost double its volume. Give it a whisk before going into pan.
The filling A
50 g Roasted chopped Peanut
25 g Sesame seed
20 g sugar
Toast white sesame seeds in pan till slightly brown.
Then add sesame seeds to roasted ground peanuts and sugar and mix them together set aside
Note
You could add sliced banana walnuts, nutella, creamy sweet corn or anything of your choice
1 tsp unsalted butter
I am using 28 cm non stick green pan or you could either use 16 cm the choice is yours.
Ready to pan
Spray oil to a non stick pan on low heat and spread evenly with paper towel.
After pan is heated evenly, add batter, use the back ladle to circle the batter till smooth and evenly cover lid and cook for 3-4 mins.
Open the lid and pancake should have a nice fluffy honeycomb structure. then add the filling A = peanut mixture, add sweet corn or banana and some unsalted butter according to own preference.
Cover and cook for another 2-3 mins then open the lids check if it's ready.
Remove and fold into half with spatula, cut and serve. Enjoy.
Tips to take note:
The surface of the non stick pan must be smooth and not score with lines otherwise.. the surface of the kueh will not be smooth.
