SWEET AND SOUR BBQ PORK SPARE RIBS














BBQ SPARE PORK RIBS
Ingredient 

1 kg pork spare ribs

Seasoning
2 cm pounded ginger
2 chopped garlic 
2 tsp 5 spices powder 
3 tsp L&P sauce
1 pc red nam yee
1 tbsp angel oyster sauce
1 tsp angel light soy sauce
3 tbsp honey
2 tbsp Shao hsing hua tiao chiew
5-6 pounded black pepper corn
1 tsp sugar
1 tsp chicken granules

Note: 
Please test to taste the above seasoning as per own preference in salty and sweetness cos sauce like Nam yee and oyster sauce are really salty.

Garnish
Spring onion 
1 chopped red chilly 

Method 
Marinate seasoning with Spare rib pork best left at least 8 hours
Keep marinated spare ribs in the fridge.
Keep an hour to room temperature before BBQ in oven
Temperature set to 200-230c. 
Selector to both up and down.

Note
When BBQ is done..you  may notice the spare ribs a little dry. In order to make it looks moist cook and add below sauce.

Ingredient for sauce to be pour on the BBQ Spare pork ribs 
3 tbsp tomato sauce 
1 tsp L&P sauce 
1 tsp honey 
6 tbsp water 
Cut spring onions
Cut I red chilly 
  
In a wok bring to boil and immediately pour onto BBQ spare pork ribs.
Dish up and serve
